OBJECTIVE:
As a rising Sophomore at Northern Arizona University majoring in Philosophy, Politics and Law with a minor in Arabic, my goal is to practice International and Human Rights Law. I am a National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) member and Community Council Chair for Tinsley Hall. I graduated June 2018 in the top 15% of my class as a Charleston County Board Scholar with a weighted 4.4 GPA.

- CO-FOUNDER – FUELSTEAM | January 2018 – Present
- FUELSTEAM is a DCPS funded initiative created to expose youth of color to multidisciplinary, STEAM enrichment. Our goal: to resolve the SKILLS and OPPORTUNITY gaps impacting underrepresented students, providing them with the technical competencies required to compete and thrive in a global marketplace. Justis co-founded FUELSTEAM and is the Team Lead Maker piloting the Make Some Noyes Robotics + STEAM Club at Noyes Elementary School in Ward 5.

- In-school engagement, supported 460 Taos Middle School students with enabling the SEESAY app on their devices
- Participating Twirl Taos partner in the 3rd annual STEAM Invent Event teaching 100+ kids and adults binary coding via our community non-profit, Taos STEAM Academy
- #HEARUS awarded “2017 Best Specialty Show” by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association (NMBA)
- Hosted #HEARUS, a weekly teen suicide prevention radio show live on KNCE 93.5FM
- Advocated for and sponsored 70 Taos high schoolers in receiving their Youth Mental Health First Aid training and certification in partnership with Rocky Mountain Youth Corps

- With the support Community House Middle School, raised $1000K for the Alzheimer’s Association.
